Peran tujuan berprestasi dalam memprediksi kemunculan perilaku meminta bantuan akademik terhadap teman sebaya pada mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Udayana
Abstract
Meminta bantuan akademik terhadap teman sebaya adalah salah satu cara regulasi belajar yang efektif untuk meningkatkan prestasi karena pelajar di Indonesia secara umum memiliki sifat pemalu dan pendiam di kelas dan enggan bertanya kepada pengajar namun banyak alasan selain tujuan berprestasi yang menyebabkan individu ingin mendapatkan nilai yang memuaskan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencaritahu peran tujuan berprestasi dalam memprediksi kemunculan perilaku mencari bantuan akademik terhadap teman sebaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 163 mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Udayana yang didapatkan melalui teknik convenience sampling. Data dari penelitian ini didapatkan melalui skala terjemahan Pattern of Adaptive Learning Survey dan Help Seeking From Peer Measure. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis dengan regresi linear berganda. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa tujuan berprestasi merupakan prediktor positif signifikan dari meminta bantuan instrumental pada teman sebaya (R2=0,221, p<0,001) namun bukan merupakan prediktor dari meminta bantuan eksekutif pada teman sebaya. Penelitian ini berimplikasi bahwa perilaku meminta bantuan instrumental pada teman sebaya yang dilakukan muncul karena mahasiswa memiliki tujuan yang ingin dicapai ketika pelajar, namun hal yang sama tidak berlaku pada meminta bantuan eksekutif yang mana disebabkan oleh faktor lainnya.
