Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

  1. Manuscript should be submitted solely to this Journal and it is not under any consideration elsewhere.
  2. Manuscript should obtain scientific method and not considered to be a work of plagiarism.
  3. Manuscript should be written in Indonesian or English with standard grammar.
  4. The length of the article is ideally 7,000 words (not including Bibliography), typed in one spaces.
  5. Manuscript should be written in single space with A4 paper, using Times New Roman font 12pt and 3cm margin on all sides.
  6. Manuscript should be submitted through online submission at https://ojs.unud.ac.id/index.php/sastra   
  7. Manuscript should be written in Journal template format, otherwise it will be rejected. Resubmission is accepted if all requirements are fulfilled.
  8. Manuscript will be send to double blind review if it is passed the Editor’s preview.
  9. Manuscript with revisions, should be resubmitted in the time frame given.
  10. Manuscript outline:

 Title should be concise and no more that 20 words and it represent the content of the analysis. 

 Name should be written in full without any academic degree and should be completed with affiliation and email.

 Abstract should be written in both Indonesian and English maximum length is 150 words. The abstract includes the research problems, methods and theory, results or conclusions, significance of the study, and 3-5 keywords.

 Introduction should consist of background and literature review completed with the aims. 

 Method and Theory should be described in clear and detail with appropriate theoretical basis in corresponds to the object of the analysis. 

 Result and Discussion should be written in no more than 4 subchapters with clear description of finding and analysis.

 Conclusion should be built based on the result of the analysis and not written as a summary. 

 Acknowledgement (optional) is consist of thank and gratitude to sponsor or grant provider.

 References should be written in accordance to APA standard and style (http://www.apastyle.org/), mandatory to use a reference management application (Mendeley, Zotero, etc)
