Abstrak

Job stress is a dynamic condition in which each individual faces an opportunity, disconnect, or demand associated with what is needed, in which the result is perceived as uncertainty. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interpersonal conflict and workload on work stress. This research was conducted at PT POS Indonesia (Persero) Central Denpasar. The number of samples is 81 people using saturated or census sampling method. Data collection was done through observation, interview and questionnaire. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis found that interpersonal conflict has a positive and significant effect on job stress. Work load has a positive and significant effect on job stress. To be able to reduce job stress then the leader should give more attention to the difference of opinion between individual and difference of thinking because of cultural background of different employee. Companies should also provide sufficient time to provide an assignment to lighten the workload of employees.
