PEER REVIEW PROCESS
All manuscripts submitted to MATRIK: Jurnal Manajemen, Strategi Bisnis, dan Kewirausahaan must adhere to the journal’s focus, scope, and author guidelines. Submissions must demonstrate scholarly merit and originality that align with the journal’s thematic areas. The Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to reject manuscripts that do not meet these criteria or fail to comply with the journal’s submission requirements.
Manuscripts must be free from plagiarism. Authors are strongly encouraged to check the similarity of their work using plagiarism detection software prior to submission. The editorial team uses TURNITIN to verify the originality of all submitted articles.
All research manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process, in which both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two to three independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewers provide critical, constructive, and scholarly feedback intended to enhance the quality and clarity of the manuscript.
The final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection of a manuscript rests with the Editor, based on reviewers’ evaluations and in consultation with the Editorial Board. The Editor-in-Chief also determines the publication sequence, taking into account the date of acceptance, thematic coherence, and geographical diversity of the contributing authors.
Following the peer review process, the Editor will make a final decision, typically within 1 to 3 months. The possible outcomes are as follows:
- Reject: The manuscript does not meet the journal’s standards and will not be considered for future resubmission.
- Resubmit for Review: The manuscript requires substantial revision and must undergo another round of peer review before a final decision can be made.
- Accept with Revisions: The manuscript is conditionally accepted, pending the completion of minor or major revisions. Revised manuscripts will be reviewed by the Editor to ensure all requested changes have been addressed prior to publication.
- Accept: The manuscript is accepted in its current form and requires no further modification.
After the decision is communicated, authors are expected to submit the final version of the manuscript within one to two weeks. If the revised manuscript is not submitted within the specified timeframe and the editorial office is not informed of any delay, the manuscript will be considered withdrawn.
