GAMBARAN POLA KONSUMSI DAN STATUS GIZI BALITA PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS 1 JEMBRANA
Abstrak
Covid-19 pandemic has caused a decrease in family income to meet daily needs such as food so that it affects consumption patterns and nutritional status especially under-five children who are a vulnerable group. This study aims to describe consumption patterns and nutritional status under-five children in the working area of Puskesmas 1 Jembrana during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive quantitative study with a cross sectional approach. There were 75 respondents selected using simple random sampling. The data collection was conducted in April 2022. The Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) was the instrument used for collecting information regarding the consumption patterns. Meanwhile, body weight according to age was a method used for measuring the children nutrition status. Majority under-five children involved in this study were male (54,7%), with an age range of 12-36 months (6,3%). Consumption patterns of under-five children are mostly less consumption (78,7%). Although most of the consumption patterns are lacking, majority the nutritional status of under-five children is still in the normal weight category (78,7%). Information regarding parents, most fathers of under five children (92%) have a job, and only 50,7% of mothers under five children worked. Most of the incomes of fathers and mothers are still below the minimum wage (< 2.500.000), with a percentage of 56,0% and 93,3%. This research data can be used as a reference for nurses to develop health program about consumption patterns and nutritional status under-five children.
