RESPON TANAMAN GAMAL (Gliricidia sepium) DAN INDIGOFERA (Indigofera zollingeriana) TERHADAP PEMBERIAN PUPUK ANORGANIK DAN ORGANIK
Abstrak
Produktivitas tanaman pakan tergantung pada ketersediaan unsur hara dalam tanah tempat tumbuhnya, sehingga pemupukan untuk mengganti hasil yang dipanen sangat mutlak diperlukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji reapons tanaman gamal dan indigofera terhadap pemberian pupuk anorganik dan organik, menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial dua faktor yaitu faktor pertama jenis tanaman (G = Gamal; I = Indigofera) dan faktor kedua jenis pupuk (T = tanpa Pupuk; A = Pupuk anorganik NPK; K = Pupuk organik komersial; O = Pupuk organik konvensional; B = Pupuk bioorganik), diulang 4 kali sehingga terdiri atas 40 unit percobaan. Peubah yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, berat kering daun, berat kering batang, berat kering total hijauan, nisbah berat kering daun/batang dan luas daun per pot. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terjadi interaksi antara jenis tanaman dan jenis pupuk dalam mempengaruhi tespons tanaman gamal dan indigofera. Jenis tanaman berpengaruh nyata terhadap diameter batang, sedangkan jenis pupuk berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, berat kering daun, berat kering total hijauan dan luas daun per pot. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa respons tanaman gamal sama dengan indigofera, semua jenis pupuk dapat meningkatkan respons tanaman, dan pupuk organik menghasilkan respons tanaman yang sama dengan pupuk anorganik.
