SINTESIS DAN KARAKTERISASI MORFOLOGI NANOPARTIKEL MAGNETIK CORE-SHELL CoFe2O4/ZnO MENGGUNAKAN PREKURSOR PASIR BESI
Abstract

ABSTRACT
A study has been conducted on the synthesis and characterization of CoFe2O4/ZnO magnetic particles using the coprecipitation method with precursors sourced from natural materials of iron sand. The synthesis products were characterized using X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Transmission Electron Microscope-Selected Area Electron Diffraction (TEM-SAED), and Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR). The X-ray diffraction results showed that the magnetic particles have a cubic spinel ferrite phase of CoFe2O4 and a hexagonal wurtzite phase of ZnO. The results of the TEM image with an SAED pattern showed that the morphology of the CoFe2O4/ZnO magnetic particles was spherical with small and uniform grains. The particle analysis resulted in a particle size with an average of 14-30 nm. FTIR results revealed the absorption of the O-H functional group as well as stretching of Fe-O and Zn-O.
