Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

DRAFT GUIDELINES FOR DELIVERY

Format / Style Writing

1. Manuscript form: research articles, Indonesia or English-speaking, has never been published.

2. Single-spaced typed manuscript (MS Word version 6.0), with margin: 2.5 cm from the top, bottom, left side, and right edges of the paper (A4 / letter) and stored on a CD or DVD, letter time New Roman font 11, max twelve (12) pages.

3. Format of the text:

TITLE: A short written with bold capital letters except scientific names in italics. NAME AUTHOR: without a title (eg: IB Putra Manuaba), when the author of more than one, the lead author written earlier followed by other authors. AUTHOR ADDRESSES: Address agencies (eg Department of Chemistry, Science Faculty, University of Udayana, Bukit Jimbaran), Telephone / Mobile, Email / Email. ABSTRACT & ABSTRACT: maximum 250 words, texts that speak Indonesia in addition to the abstract also written abstract speak English , as well as manuscripts English in addition to abstract also written abstract language Indonesia . KEYWORDS & KEYWORDS: under the abstract is written keywords and under abstract written keywords maximum 5 words. PRELIMINARY; MATERIALS AND METHODS; RESULTS AND DISCUSSION; CONCLUSIONS AND SUGGESTIONS; THANK-YOU NOTE; BIBLIOGRAPHY

4. Graphs, histograms, and consecutively numbered images, titles and captions, inserted into the script text, not as an attachment.

5. In the literature citing the name used by the system in accordance with the bibliography. Example: Testing the activity of a compound to tumor cells is based on testing standards established by the NCI (Dira, 2004). (Dira, 2004) is the author's name and the library referenced or cited as listed in the bibliography, which is sorted in alphabetical bibliography of the main authors name.

6. Writing a bibliography:

(a). Books: author's name, year of publication, title, volume, issue, name and place of the publisher. Example: Wilman, DEV, 1990, The Chemistry of Antitumor Agents , 3 rd edition, Chapman and Hall, New York

(b). Essay in the book: the author's name, year of publication, title of the article, editor name, book title, name and place of issue, beginning and end of the page. Example: Hiduc, I. and Silvestru, C., 1990, Organometallics In Cancer Chemoteraphy, Gielen, Main Group Metal Chemistry , Verleg Springer, Berlin, 201-217

(c). Periodicals or journals: author's name, year, title of article, magazine or journal name, volume (number), beginning and end of the page. Example: Volossiouk, ET, Jane, R., and Andross, N., 1995, Direct DNA-Mediated Extraction for PCR Assays of Soil Organisms, Applied Microbiology Andenvironmental , 61 (11): 3972-3976

(d). The book is translated: the author's name, year of publication, title, edition, the name of the translator, and publisher name. Example: Fessenden, RJ and Fessenden, JS, 1994, Organic Chemistry , 4 th ed., Ab Pudjatmaka, H., Gramedia, Jakarta

(e). Thesis / Thesis / Dissertation: the author's name, year, title, type of writing, the name and place of college alumni. Example: Gunawan, R., 2001, Molecular Reaction Dynamics Contributions For Collision Reaction Two Component, Thesis , Department of Chemistry ITB, Bandung

(f). Manuscript in the proceedings: the author's name, year of publication, article title and name of the proceedings, the proceedings conducted, page. Example: Green, PN, Wood, DC, and Dow, CF, 2000 Taxonomic Status Some Metagen, Proceedings of the 4th Seminar of Chemistry , Department of Chemistry IPB, Bogor, 9-16

(g). Internet: author's name, year of publication, article title, website name, date of access.

 

The procedure for loading a script

  1. Editors receive manuscripts from inside and outside the Department of Chemistry, State University of Udayana.
  2. Script and CD / DVD sent directly to the editor or via e-mail:   jurnalkimiaunud@gmail.com by following the format / style of writing that has been set.
  3. Editors will distribute a script that goes to the editor in accordance with the field.
  4. Scripts are no direct revision was published.
  5. No revision of the manuscript is returned to the author to be repaired, the corrected manuscript sent back to the editor for publication by including revisions that have been made.
  6. Fill out the responsibility of the editors.
