Indonesia Medicus Veterinus accepts scientific articles related to the field of veterinary medicine and animal health. Manuscripts relating to animals and all their aspects are also accepted for publication. The article must have a minimum of two authors. A manuscript written by only one author cannot be accepted by the editors because a study is a collaborative effort.
Accepted articles are original manuscripts that have not been published in scientific journals or news media. The manuscript can be written in Indonesian or English and should contain at least 3000 words. The article must include an abstract in both Indonesian and English. The article must be approved for publication by all authors listed, and their approval should be marked with a signature stamp on the hard copy sent to the editor.

Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- Articles must be original, have not been published previously in any scientific journal, that Articles are not being submitted for publication elsewhere, and will not be submitted to any media during the review process, unless the authors have officially withdrawn the Articles from Jurnal Veteriner.
- Articles submitted are research topics which have not conflict with bioethical research. Articles encompass a broad range of research topics in tropical veterinary medicine and tropical animal sciences: anatomy, histology, pathology, virology, bacteriology, pharmacology, mycology, clinical sciences, genetics, reproduction, physiology, biochemistry, nutrition, animal products, biotechnology, behaviour, welfare, livestock farming system, socio-economic, wildlife and policy.
- Articles should be prepared following the guidelines of Indonesia Medicus Veterinus in Instructions to Authors.

Authors submitting articles should understand and agree that copyright of articles published are held by Indonesia Medicus Veterinus. The statement to release the copyright to Indonesia Medicus Veterinus is stated in form A (link pdf). Copyright encompasses exclusive rights to reproduce, to distribute, and to sell any part of the journal articles in all form and media. The reproduction of any part of this journal, its storage in databases and its transmission by any form or media will be allowed only with a written permission from Indonesia Medicus Veterinus.
