Culture is unstatic and could be discussed from every side of human views and interests. The 21st century has witnessed significant changes in the context of Cultural Studies as the world is increasingly globalized and digitalized.  The modern learner is not only faced with the growing need to communicate in expanding contexts, but also the demand to learn the skills to be able to survive and succeed in today’s world as both a local and global citizen. A whole person education of Doctoral Study Program (S3) in Cultural Studies, Udayana University is consequently imperative to equip learners with both hard and soft skills. While the stakes for improving core Cultural Studies are higher, there is a need to develop skills such as digital literacy, critical thinking, problem solving and collaborative abilities, autonomy, intercultural competence, and environmental and civic literacy.
