PENGARUH PIJAT OKETANI TERHADAP PEMBENGKAKAN PAYUDARA (BREAST ENGORGEMENT)
Abstract
Pembengkakan payudara merupakan masalah yang sering didapatkan pada ibu menyusui. Dampak lebih lanjut dari pembengkakan payudara yang dialami ibu, yaitu nyeri payudara hebat sehingga ibu menyerah menyusui dan beralih dengan susu formula. Pijat Oketani merupakan salah satu alternatif untuk mengatasi masalah laktasi seperti pembengkakan payudara, mastitis, serta tidak cukupnya ASI atau nyeri puting. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh pijat Oketani terhadap pembengkakan payudara (breast engorgement) pada ibu menyusui di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Trimulyo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) post test only control group design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah ibu menyusui hari 1-14 postpartum di Trimulyo yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan tidak memenuhi kriteria eksklusi. Subjek dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok 30 kelompok kontrol dan 30 kelompok perlakuan. Kelompok kontrol adalah 30 orang yang diberikan KIE perawatan payudara, sedangkan kelompok perlakuan adalah ibu menyusui hari 1-14 postpartum yang diberikan pijat Oketani. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Visual Analog Scale. Hasil analisis menggunakan T-Test diperoleh p-value 0,000 (? 0,05) yang artinya ada pengaruh pemberian pijat Oketani terhadap penurunan pembengkakan payudara pada ibu menyusui di Puskesmas Trimulyo. Selain itu hasil analisis menggunakan Chi-square test didapatkan nilai p = 0,000, dengan RR 10,3 IK 95%. Artinya kelompok yang tidak diberikan pijat Oketani berisiko 10,3 kali mengalami pembengkakan payudara dibandingkan kelompok perlakuan. Pijat Oketani efektif untuk mengurangi pembengkakan payudara pada ibu menyusui.
