GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN IBU NIFAS TENTANG PERAWATAN LUKA PERINEUM DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH KABUPATEN KARANGASEM TAHUN 2023

Perawatan luka perineum adalah upaya untuk mencegah terjadinya infeksi luka perineum. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan ibu nifas tentang perawatan luka perineum di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kabupaten Karangasem Tahun 2023. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2023, dan merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional Sampel didapatkan dengan teknik purposive sampling berjumlah 37 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan kuisioner yang terdiri dari 20 pertanyaan yang sudah valid dan reliabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 54,1% ibu nifas memiliki pengetahuan tinggi,10 orang (27,0%) dengan pengetahuan sedang dan 7 orang (18,9%) memiliki pengetahuan rendah. Tabulasi silang menunjukkan sebanyak 66,7% ibu nifas berusia 20-35 tahun memiliki pengetahuan tinggi, 47,6% ibu nifas berpendidikan menengah memiliki pengetahuan tinggi, 41,7% ibu nifas yang tidak bekerja berpengetahuan tinggi. Sebesar 76,0% ibu nifas multipara memiliki pengetahuan tinggi. Sebanyak 56,0% ibu nifas yang menetap diwilayah rural memiliki pengetahuan tinggi dan 77,3% ibu nifas yang tinggal dengan keluarga inti memiliki pengetahuan yang tinggi. Rumah sakit dapat meningkatkan promosi kesehatan guna meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu nifas tentang upaya pencegahan infeksi pada luka perineum.

ABSTRACT

Good wound care can prevent contamination from the rectum, treat well the traumatized tissue. Based on the preliminary study, it was found that 3 out of 9 postpartum mothers only answered correctly regarding the postpartum period and perineal wound care, while 6 others answered incorrectly. The aim of the study was to describe the knowledge of postpartum mothers regarding perineal wound care at the Regional General Hospital of Karangasem Regency. This research is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional study approach. Conducting research in May 2023 using a purposive sampling technique. The sample is 41 respondents. Data collection with a questionnaire. Data analysis used univariate in the form of a frequency distribution table. The results showed that 56.1% of postpartum mothers had high knowledge, it was found that 12 people (29.3%) had moderate knowledge and 6 people (14.6%) had low knowledge. Cross-tabulation shows that 41.5% of postpartum mothers aged 20-35 years have high knowledge, 29.3% of postpartum mothers with secondary education have high knowledge, 29.3% of postpartum mothers who do not work have high knowledge. 56.1% of multiparous postpartum mothers had high knowledge. As many as 34.1% of postpartum mothers who live in rural areas have high knowledge and 48.8% of postpartum mothers who live with their nuclear family have high knowledge. Hospitals can improve health promotion to increase postpartum women's knowledge about efforts to prevent infection in perineal wounds.
