GAMBARAN RIWAYAT PEMBERIAN ASI EKSLUSIF PADA BALITA STUNTING DI PUSKESMAS ABANG 1 PADA TAHUN 2023

Stunting merupakan malnutrisi kronis akibat pemenuhan nutrisi yang tidak adekuat dan tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan gizi anak. Bayi yang tidak mendapatkan ASI eksklusif akan memperbesar peluang menderita stunting pada anak balita. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran riwayat pemberian ASI eksklusif pada balita stunting di Puskesmas Abang 1. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatakan cross-sectional study. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari – April 2023. Teknik sampling yaitu non-probability sampling dengan total quota sampling. Responden sebanyak 44 responden. Pengambilan data dengan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 65,9% ibu balita stunting berusia 20-35 tahun, sebanyak 38,6% berpendidikan dasar, 54,5% ibu balita stunting tidak memberikan ASI ekslusif, dan 81,8% ibu multigravida memiliki anak stunting. Berdasarkan tabulasi silang diketahui ibu multigravida sebagian besar 55,6% tidak memberikan ASI Ekslusif, ibu yang berusia 20-35 tahun 29 orang (66,7%). Diharapkan berbagai pihak agar bekerjasama menanggulangi masalah stunting pada anak balita melalui penyuluhan dan upaya preventif stunting.

Stunting is chronic malnutrition due to inadequate fulfillment of nutrients and does not match the nutritional needs of children. Infants who are not exclusively breastfed will increase the chances of suffering from stunting in children under five. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of exclusive breastfeeding history in stunted toddlers at Abang 1 Health Center. This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional study approach. The research was conducted in February - April 2023. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling with total quota sampling. Respondents were 44 respondents. Data collection with a questionnaire. The results showed that 65.9% of mothers of stunted toddlers were 20-35 years old, 38.6% had primary education, 54.5% of mothers of stunted toddlers did not provide exclusive breastfeeding, and 81.8% of multigravida mothers had stunted children. Based on cross tabulation, it is known that most multigravida mothers 55.6% do not provide exclusive breastfeeding, 29 mothers aged 20-35 years (66.7%). It is hoped that various parties will work together to tackle the problem of stunting in children under five through counseling and stunting preventive efforts.
