Prospek Diplomasi Ekonomi Indonesia Melalui Poros Maritim Dunia dalam Implementasi ASEAN Blue Economy

Abstrak

This article analyzes the implementation of Indonesia's Global Maritime Axis (GMA) in the context of ASEAN economic diplomacy and its relation to the concept of Blue Economy in Southeast Asia. The study identifies Indonesia's ambition to lead the empowerment of Southeast Asian maritime affairs for sustainable economic development and examines the prospects of GMA policy implementation from 2019 to 2023. Through document and literature analysis, this research highlights the importance of aligning GMA policy with Blue Economy in achieving inclusive and sustainable development goals in ASEAN. However, the research also notes that the implementation of GMA policy has not fully encompassed the economic dimension of ASEAN. In this context, the research aims to contribute by analyzing the prospects of Indonesia's economic diplomacy with ASEAN through the Global Maritime Axis, particularly in the context of implementing the ASEAN Blue Economy. The findings of this article can provide a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities in realizing sustainable economic growth in the Southeast Asian region, and offer policy recommendations to strengthen regional collaboration and the implementation of the ASEAN Blue Economy.
