Abstract
Kuliah sambil bekerja banyak terjadi di kalangan mahasiswa. Namun, bila mahasiswa tidak mampu menyeimbangkan waktu kuliah dan bekerja maka akan terjadi burnout. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran self efficacy terhadap burnout pada mahasiswa yang bekerja paruh waktu dimoderatori jenis kelamin. Alat ukur dalam penelitian ini adalah skala self efficacy dan skala burnout. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 110 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive. Responden merupakan mahasiswa strata satu yang bekerja paruh waktu dan belum berkeluarga. Analisis kuantitatif dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) sebagai alat penguji hipotesis. Hasil menyatakan bahwa hipotesis diterima (p<0,05) yaitu ada peran negatif self efficacy terhadap burnout. Peranan tersebut berkontribusi lebih kuat pada laki-laki daripada perempuan. Kontribusi self efficacy terhadap burnout pada mahasiswa laki-laki sebesar 2,87%, sedangkan pada mahasiswa perempuan sebesar 1,52%. Semakin tinggi self efficacy seseorang, maka burnout semakin rendah dan kontribusinya lebih kuat pada laki-laki dibandingkan pada perempuan.
