Seni dan Otak : Dinamika Neuropsikologis pada Seniman Bali
Abstract
Artikel ini membahas hubungan antara seni, budaya, dan aktivitas otak pada seniman Bali dalam konteks neuropsikologi. Seni dan budaya di Bali merupakan bagian integral dari kehidupan masyarakat yang tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ekspresi artistik, tetapi juga sebagai alat pendidikan, pariwisata, dan pelestarian identitas. Namun, dimensi neuropsikologis dalam praktik seni di Bali masih minim diperhatikan. Melalui studi literatur dengan pendekatan multidisipliner, artikel ini mengkaji bagaimana seni mempengaruhi fungsi kognitif, emosional, dan neurologis seniman Bali, dengan penekanan pada neuroplastisitas yakni kemampuan otak untuk beradaptasi dan berubah. Studi ini mengidentifikasi bahwa keterlibatan intens dengan seni tradisional mengembangkan keterampilan kognitif yang kompleks, seperti persepsi visual dan koordinasi motorik. Secara sistematis, bahasan akan mencakup ilmu neuropsikologi, proses kreatif, seni dan otak, serta neuroplastisitas pada seniman Bali. Dengan memahami dinamika ini, artikel ini berkontribusi pada literatur yang ada dan memberikan wawasan baru mengenai hubungan antara neuropsikologi dan proses kreatif di kalangan seniman Bali.
