MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI SISWA PAKET B DAN C DI PKBM MENTARI FAJAR MELALUI PELATIHAN PERANGKAT LUNAK PERKANTORAN

Abstrak

The aim of this workshop is to increase the competence of students of Paket B (junior high school equivalence) and Paket C (senior high school equivalence) at community learning centre (PKBM) Mentari Fajar. The materials for this workshop include introduction to basic computer and introduction to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint). The workshop consists of pretest, practical session, question and answer session, and posttest. Pretest is conducted to test students’ basic competence in using computer and using office software prior to the workshop. Practical and question-answered sessions are conducted during the workshop. During the practicals students are accompanied by the instructors which gave guidance to the students. Evaluation of the program is given one week after the training. Statistical analysis suggests that the training can improve students’ competence in using office software. Futhermore, feedback from students suggests that the workshop help students in doing their assignments and daily work
