PENGARUH TINGKAT KEMISKINAN DAN UPAH MINIMUM TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DAN IPM PROVINSI BALI TAHUN 2015-2019

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis seberapa besar pengaruh tingkat kemiskinan dan upah minimum terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Bali. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis jalur (path analysis). Berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa tingkat kemiskinan berpengaruh negatif (signifikan) terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, sedangkan upah minimum berpengaruh positif (signifikan) terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Kabupaten / Kota di Provinsi Bali. Tingkat kemiskinan berpengaruh negatif (signifikan) terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Manusia, sedangkan upah minimum dan pertumbuhan ekonomi berpengaruh positif (signifikan) terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Manusia Kabupaten / Kota di Provinsi Bali. Pertumbuhan ekonomi memediasi pengaruh tingkat kemiskinan terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Manusia dan pertumbuhan ekonomi tidak memediasi pengaruh upah minimum terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Manusia Kabupaten / Kota di Provinsi Bali.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to analyze how much influence the level of poverty and minimum wages on economic growth and the Human Development Index (IPM) of districts / cities in Bali Province. The analysis technique used is the path analysis technique. Based on the analysis, it is found that the poverty rate has a negative (significant) effect on economic growth, while the minimum wage has a positive (significant) effect on the economic growth of regencies / cities in Bali Province. The poverty level has a negative (significant) effect on the Human Development Index, while the minimum wage and economic growth have a positive (significant) effect on the District / City Human Development Index in Bali Province. Economic growth mediates the effect of poverty level on the Human Development Index and economic growth does not mediate the effect of the minimum wage on the District / City Human Development Index in Bali Province.
