Abstrak
The generation of waste that still cannot be handled is a problem in Denpasar. According to Arfani and Lestari (2021) the main obstacle to waste management is funding for facilities and infrastructure. To reduce the burden arising from waste management costs, the government must plan for effective management. The object of this research is waste generation in Denpasar. The method used in this research is descriptive method, by calculating the waste management capacity and comparing the costs and benefits of waste management. Based on the results, it can be concluded that: Waste management at TPS3R Kesiman Kertalangu has the highest level of efficiency, namely 82.7%. This amount is the highest among other TPS3R. Of the three research locations, one location is TPS3R Bung Tomo has not carried out sorting activities at the source, while the other two locations have carried out sorting activities at the source. At three TPS3R in Denpasar City, two of them had a B/C ratio >1, namely TPS3R Sekar Tanjung and Kesiman Kertalangu which indicated that waste management activities were economically feasible and TPS3R Bung Tomo had a B/C ratio < 1 which indicates that waste management activities are not economically feasible.
