HUBUNGAN HIGIENE SANITASI DENGAN KONTAMINASI BAKTERIOLOGIS DEPOT AIR MINUM ISI ULANG DI KECAMATAN DENPASAR TIMUR
Abstract

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the relationship between sanitary hygiene and bacteriological contamination at DAMIU (drinking water refill depots) in East Denpasar District. The research is an analytic observational with a cross-sectional design. The research location was conducted at DAMIU in East Denpasar District. 31 samples were obtained by Random sampling. Data analysis used descriptive statistical tests and Kruskal Wallis. The results showed that 64.5% of DAMIU were positive for Coliform bacteria, 0%. DAMIU positive for Escherichia coli bacteria, 35.5% DAMIU did not meet site sanitation requirements, 29% DAMIU did not meet building sanitation requirements, 48.4% DAMIU did not meet health facility availability requirements, 19.4% DAMIU did not meet drinking water treatment facility requirements, 9.7% DAMIU did not meet hygiene requirements for customer service processes, 12.9% of DAMIU did not meet the personal hygiene requirements of employees/handlers. There is a relationship between buildings and bacteriological contamination (p= 0.009), availability of health facilities (p= 0.001) and drinking water treatment facilities (p= 0.047). Internal and external parties are needed in maintaining the quality of AMIU production and DAMIU sanitary hygiene.
