APLIKASI MESIN SANGRAI DENGAN BAHAN BAKAR BIOGAS UNTUK HOME INDUSTRY

Abstract

Home Industry is experiencing a number of problems related to production, including: 1) The peanut roasting process uses a relatively simple rolling machine with a limited capacity made from steel plates and is easy to rust. 2) Packaging products that are still manual by hand and using wax to glue the plastic wrap. 3) Stirring the spices is still manually so that it is not evenly distributed. Service activities started from technical design and manufacture of tools/machines for roasting with biogas fuel, then field activities were carried out to introduce/demonstrate tools and introduce work safety at KWT Pitik Jaya. The field activity was carried out on August 29, 2021. The activity was attended by 12 participants from various parties including members of KWT Pitik Jaya, the service implementation team, Engineering students of the Udayana University Mechanical Engineering Study Program, several representatives from the local community. After field testing, there was an increase in production of 320% or more than three times. After the service activities have been carried out, it can be concluded that the counseling activities about the importance of appropriate technology, especially those related to their business as well as demonstrations and submission of the designed tools, received a good response.
