International Journal of Biosciences and Biotechnology (IJBB) (p-ISSN : 2303-3371, e-ISSN : 2655-9994) published by Central Laboratory for Genetic Resource and Molecular Biology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Udayana, Indonesia in collaboration with AgroEcoUniversum Hongkong and Faculty of Environmental Study, Hanoi National University, Vietnam (FES, VNU). It publishes articles in the broad areas of Biosciences and Biotechnology, including plant/crop science, agronomy, horticulture, plant breeding, soil science, environmental science, agroforestry, plant protection, biology, animal husbandry, and veterinary. Articles published in the IJBB journal are papers reporting results of original research that it has not been submitted to other journals and that, if accepted, will not be published elsewhere.  All papers submitted are evaluated by reviewers/experts in the field and subjected to editorial revision. IJBB uses anonymous double blind reviewing, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential.

International Journal of Bioscience and Biotechnology (IJBB) was established in relation with Interntional Conference of Bioscience and Biotechnology (ICBB).  First ICBB was conducted in 2008 in relation with the anniversary of Udayana University of Bali,  where many welknown  scientists in Bioscience and Biotechnology from Japan, Korea, Thailand, Australia, and Indonesia came as keynote speakers or invited speakers.  Among them, there were Prof. Mineo Kojima (Nagoya University/ Shinshu University, Japan), Prof. K. Kawakita (the Dean of Faculty of Agriculture, Nagoya University), Prof. J. Yamaguchi (recently is a vice president of Hokkaido University, Japan), Prof. J. Sekiguchi (Shinshu University, Japan), Prof. M.Marumoto (President of Yamaguchi University, Japan), Prof. Matsuaki Oka (recently is a President of Yamaguchi University),  Prof. Hee Hwan Kang, Prof. Joo Young Cha, and Prof    (South Korea), Prof. Acram Taji and Jennifer Firn, Ph.D.,  (Queensland University of Technology, Australia), Dr. Inez S Loedin (IRRI, Philipine), and others. 

The ICBB and IJBB is now under Laboratory of Genetic Resources and Molecular Biology, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University.  The first IJBB was published in 2010 continue to publish in  April and September every year with the articles were submitted by the authors that come from many part of Indonesia and foreign countries.
