EFEKTIVITAS LOW-LEVEL LASER THERAPY DALAM PENYEMBUHAN LUKA SUPERFISIAL PADA PASIEN DEWASA DI ATAS USIA 18 TAHUN
Abstract
Pendahuluan: Luka superfisial sebagai masalah kulit umumnya dianggap sebagai masalah sepele dengan perhatian minimal yang diberikan, terutama karena tidak mengancam jiwa. Namun, ketika tidak diberikan perawatan optimal, luka superifisial dan kesehatan mental dapat menciptakan lingkaran setan yang mengancam kesehatan fisik dan mental. Oleh karena itu, regenerasi dan perbaikan kulit untuk mengoptimalkan penyembuhan adalah topik yang penting untuk didalami.
Pembahasan: Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) telah dianggap sebagai salah satu cara paling efektif dalam perawatan luka superfisial. Artikel ulasan ini menguraikan kesamaan antara pengobatan LLLT dan perbaikan epidermis alami, mekanisme aksi LLLT, dan jenis dan dosis LLLT yang aman yang digunakan sesuai dengan masing-masing jenis laser. Pencarian didasarkan pada studi literatur terbaru yang telah dipublikasikan sebelumnya.
Simpulan: LLLT didefinisikan sebagai pengobatan yang efektif karena pemberian efek lokal tanpa kerusakan pada organ lain. Efektivitas ini terutama disebabkan oleh sifat-sifatnya, yaitu monokromatisitas, koherensi, dan polarisasi yang akan merangsang proliferasi jaringan sel punca. Selain itu, efektivitas LLLT tergantung pada kedua faktor laser dan sifat jaringan yang aplikasi dosis kecil secara teratur akan menghasilkan pengobatan yang lebih optimal daripada jarang digunakan dalam dosis yang lebih besar. Jenis LLLT yang aman dan banyak digunakan adalah Er:YAG, 46-Diode Cluster Probe, HeNe, dan GaAIAs.
