Jurnal ini dikhususkan untuk publikasi makalah asli, ulasan artikel, dan artikel terkait dengan penelitian di bidang Teknologi Pertanian. Bidang ini mencakup tiga bidang utama: Ilmu dan Teknologi Pangan, Teknologi Agroindustri, dan Teknik Pertanian dan Biosistem. Makalah yang melaporkan wawasan baru dari penelitian fundamental dan interdisipliner akan sangat dianjurkan. Disiplin ilmu yang publikasikan adalah sebagai berikut:
Ilmu dan Teknologi Pangan: Antioksidan, pengembangan pangan, evaluasi karakteristik makanan, penilaian gizi, makanan fungsional, pewarna makanan, probiotik, keamanan pangan.
Teknologi dan Manajemen Agroindustri: Teknologi proses industri, teknik sistem industri, teknik lingkungan.
Teknik dan Biosistem Pertanian: Fisiologi dan Teknologi pascapanen produk segar, desain mesin pertanian, pertanian presisi, Internet of Things dalam biosistem, instrumentasi dan otomatisasi, manajemen biosistem, pengelolaan air dan tanah, teknik pengomposan.
Adaptasi atau pendekatan baru yang berasal dari bidang studi lain untuk memecahkan masalah dalam Teknologi Pertanian sangat kami dorong untuk dipublikasikan.
Semua artikel yang telah diserahkan kepada editor sepenuhnya adalah milik editor sehingga diperlukan semua artikel tidak mengalami proses penelaahan (review) pada saat yang sama dalam dua atau lebih jurnal yang berbeda.

Manfaat bagi penulis
Kami juga memberikan banyak manfaat bagi penulis, seperti PDF gratis, kebijakan hak cipta liberal, dan kami memastikan bahwa tidak ada biaya untuk pengiriman, ulasan, dan proses editing. Karena kebijakan baru, mulai dari Volume 4, kami tidak lagi menyediakan versi cetak kepada penulis. Kebijakan ini diambil karena beberapa alasan, salah satu alasannya adalah versi digital lebih mudah dilakukan operasi tambahan seperti pemeriksaan kesamaan (Similarities), mengunggah dan mengunduh file untuk tujuan resmi, mengirim dan mengutip, dan sebagainya.
Edisi baru diterbitkan setiap bulan April dan Oktober setiap tahun. Kami hanya menargetkan 5-10 artikel per Edisi karena kami fokus pada proses peninjauan online yang lebih baik, memberdayakan semua orang yang terlibat dalam proses tersebut. Beralih dari proses offline ke proses online sepenuhnya menuntut literasi teknologi ke semua pihak, jadi kami memilih untuk fokus pada proses yang lebih baik daripada menerbitkan banyak artikel. Namun, Kami berencana untuk meningkatkan jumlah artikel per edisi.
Kami terus-menerus mendorong penulis untuk mengadopsi Perangkat Lunak yang tersedia secara bebas untuk meningkatkan kualitas naskah sebelum diserahkan. Jurnal ini telah menyediakan penulis untuk memeriksa kesamaan naskah oleh Turnitin (klik di sini, dan mendaftar sebagai Mahasiswa. Id kelas dan kata sandi dapat ditanyakan dengan mengirim email ke jitpagrotechno@unud.ac.id). Selain itu, kami mendorong penulis untuk mengelola semua referensi yang dikutip dalam naskah menggunakan Mendeley / Zotero / EndNote. Dua pertimbangan ini memungkinkan semua proses mengalir secara efektif.
Proses Peninjauan
Komunikasi intensif dan efektif antara jurnal dan penulis, jurnal dan reviewer sangat kami dihargai. Kami berharap pendekatan ini dapat menyelesaikan proses peninjauan yang lebih baik. Kami menetapkan proses peninjauan selesai kira-kira dalam 2 minggu dan ditindaklanjuti oleh penulis responsif pada proses revisi, kami berharap proses produksi untuk satu naskah dapat diselesaikan rata-rata satu bulan. Dengan demikian, silakan kirimkan artikel lebih dini untuk memastikan bahwa naskah tersebut memperoleh proses review secara memadai.

The journal is devoted exclusively to the publication of original papers, review articles and frontiers articles on Agricultural Technology research. This includes the three main areas of Food Science and Technology comprises almost all agricultural products, Agroindustry Technology, and Agricultural Engineering and Biosystem. Papers reporting novel insights from fundamental and interdisciplinary research will be particularly encouraged. These disciplines including:
Food Science and Technology: Antioxidant, food development, food characteristics evaluation, nutrition assessment, functional food, food colorant, probiotics, food safety.
Agroindustry Technology and Management: Industrial process technology, industrial system engineering, environmental engineering.
Agricultural Engineering and Biosystem: Postharvest physiology and Technology of the fresh product, agricultural machinery design, precision farming, Internet of Things in biosystem, instrumentation and automation, biosystem management, water and soil management, composting engineering.
The adaptation or new approach derived from other fields of study for solving the problem in Agricultural Technology is encouraged.
All articles that have been submitted to the editor are entirely the property of the editor so it is required that all articles not experience the review process at the same time in two or more different journals.

Benefits to authors
We also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, and we ensure that there is no fee for submissions, reviews, and copyediting processes. Due to the new policy, starting from Volume 4, we no more provide the author with the printed version. This policy is taken for some reason, one of the reasons is the digital version is easier subjected to additional operations such as similarity check, uploading and downloading the file for official purposes, sending and citating, and so on.
The new issue is published every April and October every year. We only targeting 5-10 articles per issue because we are focussing on a better online reviewing process, empowering all the people involved in the process. Move from offline process to fully online process demanding technology literacy to all personal, thus we opt to focus on better processes than publishing many articles. However, We are planning to increase the number of articles per issue.
We constantly encourage the author to adopt freely available Softwares to enhance the quality of the manuscript prior to submission. This Journal has provided the author to check the manuscript's similarities by Turnitin (click here, and register as Student. the class id and password can be asked by sending an email to jitpagrotechno@unud.ac.id). In addition, we embolden the author to manage all the references cite in the manuscript using Mendeley/Zotero/EndNote. These two considerations enable the submission-next-steps to flow effectively.
Review Process
intensive and effective communication between the journal and author, journal and reviewer is highly appreciated. we hope this approach can accomplish a better review process. We set the review process is completed approximately in 2 weeks and followed up by the responsive author on the revising process, we are expecting the production process for one manuscript can be accomplished one month on average. Thus, please submit the article earlier to ensure that the manuscript subjected to sufficient review.
