Abstrak
The application of technology of bioflock in the cultivation of catfish at the village Ketewel District of Sukawati Gianyar regency was held on 1 September 2016. The activities was conducted to increase the production of catfish in the pond narrower, reduce the cost of catfish feed and saves maintenance time, because technology of bioflock is a maintenance technology by growing microorganisms that to treat waste from catfish into agglomerates (flock) which is used as a natural food for catfish. The methods used in this activity were extension, demonstration and cultivation assistance and business management of catfish. This application was attended by 10 participants who are members of group of fishermen Mina Buwana Kerti. Making demoplot catfish with a combination of an enclosed circulation system and bioflock technology, capable of being a real learning tool for group members in the implementation of the IbW program (technology program for the region), and can improve feed efficiency. Yields on an bioflock system is 7 catfish/kg whereas the traditional system is 9 catfish/kg. Revenue in bioflock an approximately 28,57% larger than traditional system.
