Abstrak

Resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic for men who have sex with men (MSM) is a challenge so that immunity declines quickly. MSM sexual behavior is very vulnerable to HIV transmission if they are unable to maintain sexual and reproductive health amid the COVID-19 pandemic, with very little access to HIV health services. This activity aims to provide education male sexual and reproductive health and provide access to HIV and STI testing services during the Covid-19 pandemic for MSM. The community service method was in the form of educational lectures by administering a pre-test and post-test on August 21, 2022, and monitoring the behavior of MSM for one month in accessing HIV health services. The results of the analysis showed that the level of knowledge between (M = 6.19; SD = 1.078) and after (M = 9.43, SD = 1.568) education was given using the Wilcoxon test (p = 0.000; Z = -4.054). The results of behavioral monitoring showed that 18 participants accessed HIV health services (85.71%) within one month after being given education. The conclusions of this community service activity are the influence of providing male sexual and reproductive health education that aligns with behavior in accessing HIV health services during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is recommended that the MSM education and behavior monitoring in this program could be implemented in community health service facilities.
