Abstract

This research, titled "Planning and Evaluation of Two-Compartment Optical Distribution Point to Enhance Fiber Optic Access Network Performance," explores the pivotal role of Optical Distribution Points (ODP) in influencing network performance. The study underscores the significance of a reliable ODP in elevating overall network efficiency. Through meticulous planning and evaluation processes, the research focuses on designing a two-compartment ODP system. The findings emphasize that a robust ODP positively impacts network performance by enhancing signal quality, transmission speed, and overall reliability. The study also delves into the economic feasibility of implementing such a system, ensuring that the proposed ODP solution is not only technically superior but also cost-effective. The research contributes valuable insights to the field of fiber optic communication, providing a foundation for future advancements in network planning and infrastructure, with the ultimate goal of optimizing the performance of fiber optic access networks.
