Publication Ethics
JMHU is managed in accordance with the journal publication ethic, namely the overall journal management ethics concerning: Open Access Policy, Frequency Publications, Board of Editor Policy Ethic, Reviewer Policy Ethic, Authors Policy Ethic. By referring to the established publication ethic, this journal is published based on OJS, the frequency of publication is four (4) times a year, in May, July, September and December, all articles published through a review process from the Board of Editors, a review process from a team of reviewers both internal and external. Articles published are in accordance with the focus & scope of the journal written by the author based on the Author Guidelines and Journal Template
Open Access Policy Ethic
JMHU is fully committed to open access policy, therefore JMHU provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public support a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Publication Ethic for Board of Editors
Publication of articles in this Journal goes through a Peer-Review Process which begins with a review of the journal template by the Board of Editors as follows:
- The Board of Editors, both internal and external, has a track record as a journal manager (editor) who is tasked with carefully checking and ensuring that the articles being reviewed must meet the Author Guidelines and Journal Templates.
- This process is carried out by a single blind reviewer gradually towards a double blind reviewer.
- The Editor is tasked with providing the results of the review or assessment results by filling out the assessment result form / assessment format.
- The Managing Editor is tasked with returning the article according to the review results from the Editors when the article still does not meet the Author Guidelines and Journal Templates as well as publication ethics for authors.
- In the review process by the Editorial Team, an examination is also carried out related to checking similarity using Turnitin.
- The Managing Editor together with the Editor in Chief is tasked and responsible for processing articles that have met the Author Guidelines and Template assessment requirements with follow-up review processes by reviewers, both internal reviewers and reviewers.
- The entire article review process by the Board of Editors is carried out electronically, and the editor is ethically tasked and responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the entire review process, except for the interests of the authors and the journal publication process in this journal. Unpublished articles may not be used in the editor's research and publication without the written consent of the author.
- The Journal Editor is responsible for deciding which articles are worthy of publication, by considering the results of the initial review by the editors team, the validity of the article from the reviewers' results, the usefulness and contribution of the article's substance in the context of developing legal science for researchers, academics, and practitioners, especially in relation to the development of legal substance both locally, nationally, and internationally.
Publication Ethic for Reviewers
In JMHU, all published articles go through a peer review process conducted by internal reviewers and external reviewers who have scientific competence in accordance with the published article. Reviewers are tasked with assessing the substance of the article, assisting authors through comments and inputs related to the state of the arts and other relevant substance components. The review process is carried out using single blind review and gradually using double blind review. The ethical review process is carried out for the substance of the article, criticism and input are carried out objectively. Reviewers provide clear assessments, views and input supported by clear arguments. Criticism of the author's personality is an unethical act and is inappropriate for reviewers to do during the review process in this journal.
Reviewers are tasked with assessing and identifying in detail the relevance of legal documents, concepts, theories, and previous relevant study results used by the author to review and analyze. Reviewers are also tasked with identifying relevant reading sources or study results that have not been cited by the author. Every article reviewed by a reviewer is confidential and must be kept confidential, ethically any correspondence related to the article for the author must go through the journal manager. The review process may not be carried out by the reviewer if there is a conflict of interest with the author. Reviewers may not use the article being reviewed for their own interests.
Publication Ethic for Authors
Authors who wish to publish their articles in this journal must follow the requirements as presented in the Author Guidelines and Journal Template. Articles that are sourced from research results must present their research methods clearly and accurately in accordance with the usual research methods in the field of legal science. Data presented in the form of tables, matrices or images must include their sources. Dishonesty in conveying data or references is unethical behavior that is not tolerated in this journal.
Regarding originality, it is carried out through the Turnitin process and if the author uses the results of previous studies to support his article, it must be ensured that ethically the use of the cited work has been stated through the appropriate footnote mechanism. Authors may not submit the same article to several journals, and the same article that has been published elsewhere may not be submitted to this journal, because this action is unethical behavior.
The names listed in the article as authors are all people who contributed to writing the article. Including the names of authors who do not contribute to the realization of the article to be published is unethical behavior.
