Economic growth within the scope of the country will affect a country's economic activities. Gross Domestic Product is one measure of the country's success in running the economy. The economic sector is the lifeblood of the economy in carrying out its activities. Increasing the contribution of economic sectors needs to be supported by appropriate investment through investment both foreign and domestic capital. The purpose of this study is to analyze the validity of the Tourism led Growth (TLG) hypothesis in 8 ASEAN countries and analyze the effect of capital investment, the number of workers and exports and the tourism sector on economic growth. The method used is the analysis of EGLS panel data. The results showed there were indications that there were TLG hypotheses for research in eight ASEAN countries namely Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam. Capital investment indicators, the number of workers has a significant and positive impact on economic growth, while the export indicator does not significantly influence economic growth. Indicators of acceptance of international tourism and tourism capital investment have a significant and direct effect on economic growth. The contribution of the tourism sector in order to increase further, it is necessary to have tourism capital large enough so that it will have an impact on positive economic growth.
