INISIASI KADER DESA PEDULI KESEHATAN REPRODUKSI (KDPKR) SERTA DETEKSI DINI KANKER LEHER RAHIM DI DESA PENGOTAN KABUPATEN BANGLI BALI

Abstrak

Pengotan is one village in Bangli Regency which has 8 sub-villages. The number of poor households in this village in 2009 were 1.026. This program aimed at improving the understanding about reproductive health as well as early detection of Cervical Cancer using IVA method. This program was held on July-September 2016. Two approaches have been used. First, training for cadres in order to be the agent of change in reproductive health. Second, early detection of Cervical Cancer using IVA. Twenty four (24) cadres were trained and will to share the information to the people in the sub-villages. They have well understanding about health promotion after 2 weeks evaluation. Seventy two people hd joined the medical services conducted, 18 women in reproductive age were participated in IVA test. Three of them found to be positive and we refered to the public health centre to obtain the next treatment (cryotherapi). This program obtain good respond from the people at Pengotan Village. The Bangli Public Health Centre stated that they going to make IVA screening program as a routine activity.
