UU NO. 44 TAHUN 2008 TENTANG PORNOGRAFI DITINJAU DARI PERSPEKTIF POLITIK HUKUM

Abstract

The enactment of Law No. 44 of 2008 on Pornography has caused widespread controversy among the people. Some regions refused enact the legislation as it is considered not reflect the spirit of culturally diverse,or The Bhinneka Tunggal Ika principle. Therefore, it should be a review of the legislation of the philosophical, juridical and sociological comprehensively in accordance with national character, openness, honesty, and tolerance based on the spirit of national unity.

Diberlakukannya UU Nomor 44 Tahun 2008 tentang Pornografi telah menimbulkan kontroversi luas di kalangan masyarakat. Beberapa daerah menolak memberlakukan undang-undang tersebut karena dianggap tidak mencerminkan semangat beragam budaya, atau Prinsip Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. Oleh karena itu, harus review undang-undang yang filosofis, yuridis dan sosiologis secara komprehensif sesuai dengan karakter nasional, keterbukaan, kejujuran, dan toleransi berdasarkan semangat persatuan nasional.
