Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

 

We thank you for choosing JEKT to publish your articles. This instruction will ensure we have everything necessary so that your article can move through the peer review, production and publication stages smoothly. Please take the time to read and follow these guidelines as closely as possible, as it will ensure your articles are in line with JEKT requirements.

JEKT receives articles of empirical research on economic and social studies using quantitative analysis. Quantitative analysis that can be used mainly are;

  1. Econometrics

Specifically are the Policy Impact Evaluation, and other applied Microeconometrics as well as Time-series econometrics for forecasting.

  1. Input Output, CGE and others.

 

The scriptwriting format should follow the instructions as follows:

 

  1. Submission of the Manuscript. Articles submitted to JEKT are original works that have never been published before or are being considered for publication elsewhere.

New authors must create an account first, once the account is created it can be used on and on.

 

The submitted manuscript (word file) should not contain information that can identify the author, to maintain anonymity during the peer review process. The author's identity is filled in when filling in the meta data for authors on the OJS system.

 

When filling out the meta data, please fill out the Methodology section and references.

 

  1. Length of writing. The length of the writing does not exceed 10,000 words (including abstracts, text, footnotes, and references but excludes tables and figures). For tables and figures, ideally no more than eight tables and figures. Exceptions can be made if the author and editor have made another agreement.

 

  1. Writing style. The manuscript can be written in Indonesian or English.

 

The Order of the Script follows the following format:

 

Title. The title is written in Indonesian and English. The title is concise, informative not exceeding 15 words.

 

Abstract. Abstracts are written in Indonesian and English. Abstract length of each maximum of 150 words contains three things: the topic discussed, the methodology used and the results obtained.

 

Keywords. Keywords are written in Indonesian and English. Keywords should be referenced and equipped with JEL classification. Please see the following for instructions on JEL; Https://www.aeaweb.org/jel/guide/jel.php

 

Introduction (10 Percent). Introduction contains; Background research (problems that occur), the importance of research, the purpose of research, a brief review of the theory / model / previous research that support or related to research.

 

Data (10 Percent). Clearly describe the data used in the study. How data is obtained until ready to be analyzed. For those who use micro data sources can attach the do file from Stata. If the research uses independent survey data (primary sources) then the raw data should also be included.

 

Methodology (20 Percent). Describes the application of the quantitative methodology used to process the data. The choice of methodology should refer to references (books and / or journals) that are credible and reputable.

 

Discussion (40 Percent). This section contains an analysis of the results, which obtained from the application of the quantitative methodology. Analysis are written in depth with a narrative style, figures / charts, and / or tables can be used to help explaining the results of the application of the quantitative methodology. Analysis should be reinforced by logical arguments and applicable interpretations according to the issues discussed.

 

 

Conclusions and / or Policy Recommendations (10 Percent). Summarize the results of the study along with suggestions and recommendations aimed at government, practitioners, or other relevant stakeholders as a solution or alternative problem solving in accordance with the research results.

  1. Tables and figures must list the source. Tables, figures and mathematical equations are numbered sequentially according to their appearance. The use of lines in the table is only for head (heading) and the bottom of table. Images and graphics will be printed in black and white format so it is necessary to make different patterns between the displayed data and not with the color gradation or color difference.

Author Fees

Starting from  2nd issue of 2021 (August), if you paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee for 1,500,100 IDR
